HAPPY FRIDAY! I thought I would switch it up and share a little life update in my caption today. After nearly 2.5 years, I officially only have 2 weeks left of my graduate program. It’s surreal to think that in just a couple of weeks, I will have finally graduated with my MBA and will be headed off on my next solo international adventure ✈️! Any guesses where I’m headed?

Hint: it’s somewhere in Europe that I haven’t been, and is known for a certain type of 🍷 (among many other amazing things 🌊🐟 🥮☕️🍴)!

Happy Friday! Wishing I were making my way down this gorgeous little back street in Oxford today! I was so excited when I happened upon this pale pink beauty that I may or may have decided to make it my future house 😏. In all seriousness, something about Oxford makes me feel at home - I’m not sure if it’s all the students and faculty buzzing around town (I love school 👩🏻‍🎓), the overall energy, or the fact that it gives me all the nostalgic Harry Potter vibes⚡️. Regardless, Oxford is one wonderful and welcoming place, and I hope to make my way back there someday to explore further! Have you ever visited a new place that made you feel at home?

While this spot would have been the perfect place to get an epic photo with the famed Big Ben, I was unpleasantly surprised to learn upon my arrival in London that he is unavailable for photos at the moment. Big Ben is getting some TLC and is covered in scaffolding - this was a bummer for sure, but it’s always good to see that city icons are being looked after and preserved for years to come! Rather than including a depressing box of scaffolding in the photo or adding him in through “photoshop magic”, I chose to simply shift my photo’s angle to admire the beauty of Westminster itself! Whenever I travel, I try to seek out a glass of wine with an epic view at least once during a trip. I did not find this particular spot in my research in advance, and just happened upon it while wandering around. It’s a small little second-floor rooftop bar, and the main event are these gorgeous views of the river and tower bridge! The wine wasn’t incredibly overpriced (which surprised me), and it was not terribly crowded at all (which surprised me even more 😂). I visited on a weekday before happy hour time and I basically had the place to myself ☺️! If you want to find this spot, it is just past Hay’s Galleria when walking along the river towards Tower Bridge. Happy Friday loves! 🥂

On my recent visit to Canterbury in England, I found a wide host of options for places to stay, ranging from hostels to Airbnb’s. I happened upon a really cool option in my research - to stay ON the grounds of the famous Canterbury Cathedral! The @canterbury_cathedral_lodge is located right on the grounds of the cathedral, providing access to the grounds outside of normal operating hours! This allowed me to explore the grounds in peace (I basically had the entire place to myself one morning 😂👌). The lodge was quaint, charming, affordable, and even included breakfast each morning! It also had the most gorgeous terrace with cathedral views (swipe right to check it out ➡️)!
